About
I am fascinated by the potential of algorithms to produce infinite variations based on subtle changes in parameters. By manipulating the underlying code of an algorithm that I created, I generate graphic forms. Through this process, I investigate the fundamental elements of visual composition: shape and line. The computer becomes a tool for extending the possibilities of manual drawing. The algorithm acts as a virtual canvas and as it changes, so too do the graphic forms, revealing unexpected harmonies and dissonances in its systematic repetition. Each new version is a departure point. The resulting images are both meticulously constructed and unpredictably organic, reflecting the hybrid nature of this process. Through this methodology, my aim is to explore the aesthetic potential of algorithmic systems.
